Opus Grill

The best meal of my life. How's that for an opening line? I can't really say it any other way. Their David Blackmore wagyu still haunts me. Every steak I have eaten before and after simply can't compete. To say we enjoyed their Degustation Menu is an understatement. Service was friendly and impeccable. I called an hour before to reserve a table for 7:30 pm and was surprised to be accommodated. It wasn't until around 9pm when the whole place filled up. The clientele was a mix of the Hong Kong glamorous set and expats. This is a classy place for grown ups, although I did see a baby sleeping in a pram.

Black Swan

I saw Black Swan last week and was immediately riveted by the daring and range of Natalie Portman. As the white swan, she looked feminine and fragile. As the black swan, she looked bold and confident. It seems a startling comparison to Natalie's image. Her squeaky clean public persona is very much like the white swan and through this movie, she has transformed into a provocative, daring version of herself. Excellent performances by Vincent Cassel and Mila Kunis too.
